Sweet Lola's Cupcakery & Bake Shop, located at 303 3rd St, Wausau, is the first of its kind in the central Wisconsin area. Owned by Tara & Bobby Nowak of Wausau, Sweet Lola's provides a bit of indulgence we all need to treat ourselves with once in a while.

Our goal at Sweet Lola's is for each and every person who comes into the shop to start with a smile and end with a smile. We love making our customers happy and we love to see them come back and share their Cupcake experience with us.

We want to thank everyone who waited patiently for us to open and for your amazing and continued support as it means a great deal to our family at home and to our new Sweet Lola's family.

Sweet Lola's provides free WIFI (free wireless Internet) for your convenience and is a member of the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce.

For bakery orders of more than one dozen, please call at least 24 hours in advance.

Sweet Lola's is a treat not to be missed when you visit Downtown Wausau. Specialties at Sweet Lola's include gourmet cupcakes, cookies, specialty cake (by the slice) and coffee by New Roots Coffee.

At sweet Lola’s our cupcakes are baked from scratch daily. We require at least 24 hour advance notice for orders of a dozen cupcakes not being purchased from our case. All special orders of a dozen or more are one flavor per dozen minimum. We require at least 72 hours advance notice for orders of 13-99 cupcakes. We need a minimum of one week's notice for orders of more than 100 cupcakes. For larger orders such as weddings and special events, please give us as much notice as possible to ensure that we can create perfect cupcakes for your event. Special decorations may be available upon request for an additional charge. Please note, all orders must be paid for in advance.

MINI CUPCAKES-

* Because minis are labor intensive and we bake daily, we have a set policy for ordering:

• There is a dozen per flavor minimum
• We need 3 days notice (which we ask for all special orders)
• You can only select flavors from the daily menu for the date of your order
• Mini Vanilla and Chocolate are available every day
• Certain flavors are not available as a mini version
• Minis are $1.25 each, $15 per dozen

Very hit and miss. Some days very dry and tasteless and other days beyond amazing. To pay so much money for a cupcake, I would like a little more consistency.
