Pettit's Haunted Forest is located at W1018 Starr Rd in Chili (just west of Marshfield) and is situated on a 40 acre forest. The path that is walked is about 1/4 mile long and goes through the woods and around a couple of ponds. The paths are fog and stench filled with continuous screams being heard. We have over 70 volunteers that work in the forest with various skits and many are just hiding in the forest to scare you.....
This event is a fund raiser for the family of cancer child that lives in the central WI are. All of the money raised goes to the family, with over $6,000 raised last year in the 4 night event....
You are guided through the forest in groups of 10. This event is as scary as we can make it and children are not allowed through. Last year, we had just over 2000 people attend in the 4 nights, so plan on possible a lengthy wait. We have fires gong and food and refreshments are available.
