For over 30 years, Lake of the Torches has been providing quality entertainment and fun to all who visit. Since our humble beginnings, we have been recipients of numerous industry awards and we continue to strive to be the premier casino resort in Wisconsin.

In the 1970s, Lake of the Torches opened its doors in the form of a bingo hall. By the 1980s, slot machines and blackjack were added and a new facility was built in downtown Lac du Flambeau which proved to be very popular and successful, attracting residents from around the state and surrounding areas.

In the 1990s, due to the success of the casino, a new location was erected on the shores of Pokegama Lake. This new facility featured a hotel, restaurant, food court, and expanded slot machines and blackjack tables.

Most recently, in 2002, the Woodlands Oasis water recreation center was constructed to offer visitors even more fun and exciting things to do during their stay. The center offers a kiddie pool, whirlpool, sauna, plus a full-sized pool with water sports and bubble benches.

Lake of the Torches is proudly owned and operated by the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.
