Description:
The Thomas House Center for History is located in the lower level of the restored Thomas House which was built as a hotel immediately after the Great Marshfeild Fire of 1887. The featured display from January through April is of the 1887 fire. Two models depict the city before and after the fire. The next display will be on the Great Depression. Four different aspects of the Depression will be covered. Tours available by calling 715-384-5867 or 715-384-9031. Access is available throught the front entrance via the courtyard or the elevator entrance throught the rear door of the building.
