07/26/2011 - Otis & the Alligators play free show at The Filmore Wednesday July 27th
There has been much talk and speculation about the newly reopened Filmore in downtown Wausau. Personally, I fell in love with the venue the first time I stepped inside- but my love of live music doesn't make me the most objective person - I see what I like, and business owners must evaluate possibilities and opportunities on more objective and measurable criteria. In a meeting with Tim Schertz, CentralNightOut.com learned about some of the initial plans for the Filmore and it sounds like a recipe for success. Unsure about how much I should share about our conversation, I'll have to blog about some of the details at a later date. What I can tell you is that the amazing entertainment that The Filmore brings to town each Wednesday night for after the Concert on the Square, will always be free- or in other terms- no cover charge. Tomorrow night Otis & the Alligators will take the stage around 8pm and I repeat- there will be no cover charge! So stop by The Filmore after the 400 Block and check out Otis & the Alligators to finish off the mid week hump day!
