06/22/2011 - The Fillmore opens in Wausau's Downtown- features band 8th World Wonder
After talks of reopening the Fillmore nearly a year ago failed, many residents....including myself....wondered if this amazing venue for live music would ever really open it's doors. But, the Fillmore is finally making its debut tonight featuring local band 8th World Wonder. The band is scheduled to start right after the Concert on the Square (with Johnny and the Motones from 6pm-8pm) and is looking forward to hearing reviews from the many supporters of local live music. Stop in to The Fillmore and tell Tim, the owner, you said Hi- and if you could mention that you read about The Fillmore on CentralNightOut.com- that would be cool too (wink)!

Hello John Doe! I appreciate your feedback however, this blog was posted just before the Fillmor was reopened and I hadn't realized the error of my mistake. However, after consideration, I decided not to correct the mistake in this first blog because many people in the area make the same mistake that I did. For SEO purposes, I left the "Fillmore" spelled incorrectly deliberately so people would find the bar regardless of how they spelled it when using search engines like Google and Yahoo.
